Julie's Eyes
I snapped this shot just before Julie went to bed. She was laughing as we were in the middle of playing a game with her blankie where she pushes through the spindles of her crib and then I grab it and stick a small part of it back through another part of the crib in a little "peek-a-boo" style game.

Julie's First Birthday
Julie gets her first haircut with Shari. She did very well with it, especially once she had some "reading material" in her hands to distract her.
"Mother Goose" came to read some stories for Julie along with a puppet show to go along with it. Joey and Julie were quite convinced the the story teller had some remarkable similarities to their own mother....
The live stage show and "Mother Goose".... (personally, I had to agree with Joey and Jocie... I think I've seen a similar shirt in our closet to the one MG is wearing).
Although the "Mother Goose" costume may have fooled the older Pike kids (and maybe their father), Julie knew all along that this had to be mom as she tries to unveil her by removing her "Granny Glasses."
Jessamyn Dances
We recently got a rare glimpse into Jessamyn's dance class as they let the parents come in and see some of their progress in an impromptu dance receital created that same day. Amazing, really, to think that they have learned all of the basic moves and can string them together into a sequence at will.

Julie Walks (video)
Thanks to the wonderful grandparents who watched our 4 children while Jenny and I took a cruise around the Caribbean, we have a short video captured of Julie taking her first steps (of course, we were far far away when this happened). "Nana" captured this short film for us. The film has no sound, but you can imagine the sounds just by watching the video.
Julie Explores the House
Pants maybe a bit too long for her, but she's having a blast being a baby pushing her baby around in a stroller.
Caught mid-sentance, Julie tells me about her day spent crawling around and being cute.
She stops to check her baby's bottle to make sure the temperature is just right before giving it to her.
HI!!!!
Cute faces from behind a well fingerprinted glass door.
Julie's older sister Jessamyn helps her learn to walk as they show mommy just how well the lesson is going.
