Jocie's 4th Birthday

Jenny did a 'Magic Schoolbus' theme for Jocie's 4th birthday. The cake has the bus coming out of it.

Jenny also thought of using presentation boards from a crafts store to create a school bus for the kids to play in

All of the kids loved playing in the school bus.

Julie got to be the crossing guard

Along with the school bus theme, Jenny also decided to do a 'science of the kitchen' theme for Jocie as well.

Chef Joey

And some of Jocie's close friends....

The science setup in the kitchen
Jocie made bubbles using dishsoap and a paper clip made into a wand.
Joey loved making his bubble.s
and Julie looked on in amazment.
Joey with his bubbles.
Pretty proud
Jocie with friends.
Char wasn't too happy to have her cubes of sugar melt away....
But the kids loved to see the colored water climb up the cubes before they disolved away.
Concentration...
Joey with a double stack.
Jocie making fixx....
Powdery fingers from making play dough.
Jocie loves getting sticky.
Creating the dough.
Julie was still intently watching....
Time for birthday cake.
Blowing out the candles
All of Jocie's closest friends
Jocie had lots of help opening her presents....
While Joey drove the buss...
And it snowed very hard this day....

Such a wonderful delight to see more new photos on your blog!

Whew!

What fun, clever ideas Jenny comes up with for birthday parties perfectly appropriate for her children's ages.

Your close-up compositions are wonderful... no extra info to detract from the subject at hand. They also relay the action of the moment. Very vivid, indeed.

Happy Birthday to Jocie.
