The JJP Girls

This last week saw the rather unfortunate passing of our grandmother and subsequent funeral. In memory of her and shared mourning, our immediate family gathered for an intimate evening and dinner (complete with a serenade by Jocie as she ran through the house).

These two posts are photos from this event. Note: There is alot of smiling going on (yes, we were hurt in our hearts)... it really is impossible not to smile when Joey, Jess, and Jocie are around.

This past weekend I had the chance to go "chimping" with a long time friend and fellow photog Norm. We trekked through the most of the downtown area in Kalamazoo in the evening light and shared memories and photo concepts (he's much more advanced than I am and is a great mentor). Some of the photos from our walk are up on the 365 blog.

Norm, thanks for a fun evening and great learning experience, we'll have to do this again soon.
